My Valley View In Lovely Yorkshire
My house is my favorite place to be, there is nowhere quite like home. Although small my home is full of character, with lovely stair handrails and other nice touches we've added to the place as time's gone by. I live in lovely Yorkshire in the United Kingdom, on the end of a row of 6 terraced houses made from traditional stone. It has one large bedroom, a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. The best thing about my home is the fabulous view from the large window in the lounge; it looks out to a large valley covered in dense woodland, with a river running along the bottom of the valley. Every day the view is different with the changing colors of the trees, and also the wildlife that visits. I often see magpies, jays, jackdaws and robins, and occasionally a green woodpecker, though I can usually hear him before I see him! I also see squirrels, hedgehogs, foxes and the local farmers cows grazing. I can sit looking out of the window for hours on end, its simply gorgeous. Another benefit to my home is as it is made from stone it is warm and comforting in the winter, but cool and calm in the summer.
