The Impact Modern Toys Have On Children

In the good old days, toys were made up of plastics or wooden materials - in fact, wooden toys were sought after by kids - often their fathers would make simple toys out of a couple of blocks of wood.

But in modern days, toys operated and controlled by remote fascinate children. Children used to play board games like Scrabble, Monopoly, Pictionary, Chinese checkers and many others. But now these games are available online and children have to just log into the site and play with an unknown opponent. Nowadays kids mostly play games, video games on computers and television.

This has affected their health, as there is no physical exercise involved in it. If you look outside on a summer's evening in the UK for example, you will see the streets are largely quiet, where as 30 years ago they'd be full of kids on bikes, playing football, skipping etc.

Eyesight also gets damaged from video game playing very soon because of constant monitoring in front of TV or computers.
